Race Club Stymied by Weather Issues Again

Sugarbush Racing Club members received an email alert at 7:30 in the morning on February 11 that there would not be a race that day.  They were advised to exchange their race skis for their powder skis.  After the February 4 race was postponed due to a lack of snow, this race was cancelled as well due to too much snow!  Race chairperson Lauri Landau is understandably perplexed as she is rearranging schedules to make up the two missed races.

As always, the road goes on forever and the party never ends!  Seventy members arrived at Fit To Be Thai’d to revel in the snow and talk about the powder day while watching a video of the past Monday’s dinner dance.  A gift basket crafted by Kate Jones containing a gift certificate from “The Store” and another gift certificate to Fit To Be Thai’d were raffled and the fifty-fifty raffle to benefit VASS adaptive sports was drawn.  Hopefully there will be at least one race on February 25 but, like death and taxes, there will be a party at the Terra Rossa!
