Race Club Postponed by “Spring” Conditions

There was too little snow to set gates on Racer’s Edge this past Thursday and forecasts do not bode well in this winter that never was. However, the festive spirit that prevails for the Sugarbush Racing Club did not seem to be dampened for the seventy members who gathered at the Mad River Barn for food, drinks and raffles.

Videos were shown of previous races and upcoming events were foretold. First and foremost is the annual pot luck dinner dance at the Terra Rossa where the joint will be rocking to the music of Richard Pitonyak’s RPM Entertainment DJ Services. At least seventy-five members and guests will be in attendance according to club social chairperson, Deb Koch, whose committee has been planning and making decorations for weeks.

Hopefully a race will be held this Thursday and the party will be held at Fit To Be Thai’d. There will not be a race or a party during President’s week. More information can be found on this website.
